Kris Hendrickson Trainer

Kris Hendrickson Blends natural horsemanship with traditional methods to create well rounded and confident horses.

Her goal is to provide each horse with a solid foundation, utilizing groundwork and through under saddle work in the basics before progressing. Horses need a base on to which the building blocks of a discipline can be laid. Much Like a building, if the foundation is unstable so is the rest of the building.

Kris specializes in green, problem horses and off track race horses. Each horse is an individual and must be treated as such. No cookie cutter programs here! Kris takes and individualized approach based on horses strengths, weaknesses, and what the owner’s goals are for the horse.

Kris grew up in Las Vegas NV, and started riding at age 8. She comes from a very well rounded background competing in numerous disciplines from western pleasure to roping at rodeos, Hunter/jumpers to Reiners, as well as 3 day eventing and cowhorse. Kris has worked for some of the best barns and spent some time on the racetrack, most recently working for a well known Arabian trainer. While there she worked on dressage, in hand and showing sporthorses.  3 Day eventing is Kris’s true passion, and she plans to compete her own mare Valentina this year. Kris is also pursuing her young event horse trainer certification through the USEA and will be competing this year at Retired Race Horse project with Andrea Oflaherty’s Last Music.
